SU men's basketball 2020-21 schedule released

Syracuse men’s basketball opens up the 2020-21 season Dec. 8 at Rutgers as announced by the ACC on Tuesday.
The Orange’s Dec. 22 home opener features visiting Notre Dame, with Syracuse edging the Fighting Irish out in their all-time series, 30-22.
Additional games played in the Dome this season will be against Florida State, Clemson, Miami, Virginia Tech, NC State, Louisville, Pittsburgh, Boston College and North Carolina.
In years past, Syracuse faced off against their ACC rivals three times in a single season but this year, due to coronavirus concerns, the Orange will be battling six teams, including rivals Boston College and Pittsburgh, only twice. Clemson, Louisville, North Carolina and NC State pick up the remaining contests.
As for away games, Syracuse will be squaring up against Boston College, Wake Forest, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, Virginia, Clemson, NC State, Louisville, Duke and Georgia Tech.
Exact game dates for some of the Orange faceoffs are still undecided with the schedule including seven games that will either be played on a Tuesday or Wednesday.
Besides their season opener against Rutgers and their newly-released battle against Buffalo in the Dome on Dec. 19, most of Syracuse’s non-conference games have yet to be announced.
Syracuse Athletics also released their ticket plan for the 2020-21 basketball season, announcing they will be transitioning to an individual game ticket model. Season ticket holders will have the option to reinvest all or a portion of the funds paid for season tickets as a donation to the Together ‘Cuse campaign that benefits all Syracuse University student-athletes, rollover ticket funds to the 2021-22 basketball season or request a refund.
