The Orange’s 72-63 win over the Connecticut Huskies was the second game of the 2017 Men’s Jimmy V Classic.
The Orange earn the victory in a game with 20 lead changes.
Season highs included defeating the defending champions, but SU conceded 162 points in the final three games.
Seven years ago, Veteran Sgt. Andrew Clary’s job was made for him: the bodyguard for the men’s basketball team and Coach Jim Boeheim. Clary says his Air Force training has prepared him for the pressure of this position.
The players combined for 30 points in Syracuse’s fourth win of the season.
