Syracuse women’s lacrosse fell to No. 3 Boston College 15-8 in the ACC Tournament’s final match-up. BC topped Syracuse for the second time this season, the only ACC side to defeat the Orange.

After a hard-fought first half that saw both teams enter the break tied, the Eagles limited the Orange to just one second-half goal, while going for five-straight to close the game.

Syracuse opened the ACC tournament with a win over Louisville, before going 8-0 to start a matchup against Virginia. The Orange beat both side by a combined 24 goals.

Still, coach Kayla Treanor and her squad could not get past Eagle goalie Shea Dolce, who finished the game with 10 saves.

The Orange now wait for the NCAA Tournament. The bracket will be revealed in a selection show on Sunday, at 9 p.m.
