Worlds of comics, fantasy and science fiction collide at Salt City Comic-Con

The world of comics, fantasy and science fiction sprang to life this weekend at Destiny USA. Hundreds came dressed in the ensemble of their favorite characters for the two-day Salt City Comic-Con.

From small children to middle-aged adults, attendees enjoyed the costume-clad camaraderie that’s shared amongst comic book aficionados. More than just milling about in costumes, the event featured a cosplay contest, fair games, food and inflatable bounce houses.

And, for the attendee was was one accouterment short of the perfect costume, vendors supplied last-minute lightsabers, battle axes, shields, and capes.
