As schools across the country shut down, students and administrators try their best to adapt to working from home in uncertain times.

Coronavirus has directly impacted the Karp family. They are adapting to what they call a “New Normal.”

As the Assistant Superintendent for the Merrick School District in Long Island, New York, Jill Karp is involved in the decision-making process for how the district is going to run remotely. Working from home, Karp has a new work environment that includes taking care of her two college-age children who are both working remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jonah is a broadcast and digital journalism  senior at Syracuse University. Coming home early has forced him to start his job search sooner than he originally anticipated.
