Up-and-coming rapper Aaron May headlined Saturday’s “Empire State Of Mind,” University Union’s latest installment for its series of concerts with emerging musical artists.

From Houston, May has found a following among hip-hop fans for soul-infused tracks like “Let Go” and “Ride.”

DJ sets by Waffle Vaflya and Valantonio opened the Goldstein Auditorium show, which was a collaboration between UU and Lambda Sigma Upsilon fraternity.
