The Orange Grove was illuminated with hundreds of candles to celebrate Diwali, the start of the new year in the Hindu calendar.

Candles are lit for the Diwali festival in the Orange Grove near the Schaffer Art Building on Wednesday for a celebration organized by students in the Art and Architecture of India course. The event was a collaboration with the Syracuse chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architecture Students (NOMAS), South Asian Student Association (SASA), and Delta Phi Omega (South Asian-interest based sorority).
