Fans will be allowed back in the Dome for Saturday's men's lacrosse game against Vermont. The stands, however, will look fairly different than they did during the pictured game above.

Fans will be allowed back in the Dome on Saturday for the Syracuse men’s lacrosse game against the University of Vermont, according to a statement released by Vice Chancellor Michael Haynie and SU Director of Athletics John Wildhack on Thursday.

The announcement comes after Gov. Andrew Cuomo gave the go-ahead for fans to return to stadiums across New York last month.

With Syracuse University being the first major college sports arena in New York State to try out the reopening plan, the university will allow 900 students, beginning with student season ticket holders, to attend Saturday’s game.

Students must receive a COVID-19 screening at the Stadium Testing Center 24 hours prior to the event in order to attend. Upon arrival, they must receive a second rapid COVID-19 test. Both tests must be negative for admission and will be of no cost to the students.
