Students camp out, tailgate for Duke game

Syracuse students and fans tailgated and partied all-day prior to the highly-anticipated Syracuse-Duke basketball game on Saturday night.
Otto’s Army rounded up SU students Thursday to participate in the annual student campout with tents lined up outside of the JMA Wireless Dome in the designated “Boeheimburg” area. Students who slept two nights outside earned early entry around 3:30 p.m., so they could grab front row seats in the student section.
The matchup brought 31,000+ fans, marking the highest attendance during a regular NCAA basketball game this season.

Student DJs pick a new song to rouse the crowd during the Duke pre-game parties around campus.
