As the regular season comes to a close, Syracuse women’s lacrosse’s dominance has not. Over the weekend, the team remained undefeated, picking up its 14th victory of the season over Clemson, 19-10.

The Orange outscored the Tigers in every quarter, with eight players having at least a goal. Three SU players scored three or more goals, including junior attack Emma Ward, graduate student attack Meaghan Tyrrell and sophomore attack Olivia Adamson.

For a program-high fourth consecutive week, the Orange is ranked No. 1 by Inside Lacrosse. SU is also one of two teams, along with Denver, who still have an undefeated record at 13-0.

The team will look to keep the pedal on the gas and continue its dominant play against the defending national champions, No. 5 North Carolina (10-2).

Men’s lacrosse starts to turn things around

After a bumpy middle of the season, Syracuse men’s lacrosse has started to turn things around. A 16-13 road win against then-No. 14 Princeton saw freshman Joey Spallina score four goals to go along with five assists. SU has returned to being ranked in the top 20 in both the USILA Coaches’ Poll (No. 18) and the Inside Lacrosse Media Poll (No.17).

Now 7-5 on the year, SU’s final three regular season games will be on the road. Next up on the team’s schedule is a Saturday clash with No. 11 North Carolina in Olney, Maryland at 4:00 p.m.

The Orange hosted the Tar Heels earlier this season, losing 19-13.

Syracuse women’s basketball adds transfer

Dominique Camp, a 5’8″ guard from Dayton, Ohio, will be joining Syracuse women’s basketball for the 2023-24 season.

Camp, heading into her fifth collegiate season, played at three other colleges before committing to ‘Cuse. Last year, Camp played for Akron, and in her junior year she played under current Syracuse women’s basketball head coach Felisha Legette-Jack at Buffalo. Camp spent the 2020-21 season at Troy and her freshman year at Sinclair Community College.

The addition of Camp adds to the litany of players on the roster who played under Jack during her tenure at Buffalo.
