The bleachers were packed under the lights as supporters celebrated the career of their Orange seniors. Fortunately for the fans in attendance, Syracuse played strong for the duration of the game.

The first half was relatively slow in comparison to the final 45 minutes, however, in the 36th minute, the Orange struck with a goal from transfer forward, Severin Soerlie, assisted by Luther Archimede.

The second half was a similar story but full of much more excitement, as star forward Massimo Ferrin fired on all cylinders. In both the 54th and 55th minutes, he tested the keeper with powerful shots from just outside the box that almost widened the gap.

After 17 minutes in the last half, the Orange struck once again when sophomore forward Ryan Raposo, assisted by Hilli Goldhar, struck a beautiful chip shot over the goalie. Raposo has been an absolute stud for the Orange this 2019 campaign, racking up 12 goals after the State game and owning 29 points overall.

Not too long after Raposo’s goal, freshman Amferny Sinclair ignited the crowd with an absolute rocket from outside the box, notching his first goal of the 2019 season.

The Orange now stand at 7-4-4 on the season as they prepare for Boston College.
