Men and women's LAX headed to NCAA Tournament

The women's team earned a 5-seed in the tournament.

Women’s LAX

The Syracuse women’s lacrosse team (15-4) earned a 5-seed in the NCAA Lacrosse Championship. The Orange is one of six teams that earned first round byes and will face the winner of a matchup between Penn and Georgetown.

Syracuse will play on May 12.

Men’s LAX

The men’s lacrosse team is entering the tournament unranked and will face 8-seed Loyola Maryland (11-4) in the first round on May 11 at noon. The Orange will be traveling to Baltimore for its matchup with the Greyhounds.

If Syracuse advances to the quarterfinals, it will face either 1-seed Penn State, Marist or UMBC.
