The founder of Salt City Burlesque known as "Harlow Holiday" found a way to perform despite COVID-19 pandemic setbacks.

Talia Shenandoah is a human service representative by day and a burlesque dancer by night.

The founder of Salt City Burlesque, Shenandoah goes by the stage name “Harlow Holiday” during her performances. She is a plus-sized, body-positivity advocate, and indigenous dancer who loves to give back and get involved with her community. Shenandoah lives by a rule to be fiercely proud of who she is, and strives to encourage others to do the same.

In early 2020, Shenandoah organized Salt City Burlesque’s biggest and most successful show, but the excitement of the event was immediately followed by the panic of the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then she has adapted to the challenges of a global shutdown by learning the ins and outs of virtual performances and events.
