Whether you’re single, in a relationship or in a situationship, Valentine’s Day should be an opportunity to celebrate love for everyone.

The best part of celebrating a holiday that revolves around love is spreading the love to as many people as possible, especially your friends. Hosting a Galentine’s Day party complete with rom-coms, cocktails and delicious snacks is the perfect way to do just that.

Paint and sip night

For this activity, everyone brings a canvas, paint and their favorite bottle of wine. Make the space relaxing and atmospheric by lighting some candles and putting on some soothing background music. You can all paint the same thing, or you can each do something unique.

The beauty of a paint and sip night is that no one has to be good at painting — it’s an excuse to get your creative juices going while catching up with your friends. What’s better than that?

Cooking

Food is arguably the best love language, and cooking a group dinner is a surefire way to please everyone. A Galentine’s Day dinner calls for comfort food, so try Gigi Hadid’s TikTok famous pasta for your main course. It’s spicy vodka pasta with caramelized tomato paste, basil and lots of red pepper flakes. It won’t disappoint.

Or, if you want to be extra festive, make DIY heart-shaped pizzas so each person can choose their own toppings and sauce. Have everyone bring their own appetizers, drinks and voila. You have a feast.

Movie night

If you and your friends are looking for something more lowkey, a movie night is the perfect activity. Since love is in the air, why not binge rom-coms? Here are some suggestions to get you started: She’s the Man, 10 Things I Hate About You, Clueless and Notting Hill.

No great movie night would be complete without a tub of popcorn and candy, so stock up on some sweet and salty treats. Lesser Evil and Angie’s BOOMCHIKAPOP are two tasty popcorn options.

Self-care night

Stock up on all of the face masks, oils and serums and throw on your cutest pair of pajamas. After everyone is pampered and comfortable, bring out some card games for guaranteed entertainment. For The Girls and Never Have I Ever two tried and true options.

Cocktails
