From bone-chilling drinks to ghoulish bites, here’s how to keep the Halloween vibe going all night long with these eerie treats.

Oogie Boogie Jell-O Shots

Start off your Halloween party this year with a twist on a classic party favorite: Jell-O shots! This Nightmare Before Christmas-inspired treat is perfect for giving the occasion a frightful flair. It can also be easily customized with all your favorite gummy candies and Jell-O flavors to fit any holiday.

Ingredients:

  • 1 packet of lime Jell-O mix
  • 1 cup of tequila
  • 1 cup of boiling water
  • Gummy bugs (gummy worms, spiders, etc.)
  • 2 oz. plastic cups

Instructions:

  • Mix boiling water with the lime Jell-O package and stir until dissolved.
  • Add tequila and stir well.
  • Place gummies into the bottom of plastic cups.
  • Fill the rest of the cups with Jell-O and place in the fridge for 2 to 3 hours to set.

Mummy Hot Dogs

Are we celebrating the weekend before or after this year?? Probably both to be honest. We have the perfect solution to satisfy your Halloween hunger pains after both weekend benders.

Ingredients:

  • Hot dogs
  • Crescent rolls

Instructions:

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  • Cut your hot dogs to form arms and legs (two cuts higher up on either side for the arms and one big cut down the center for the legs).
  • Cut your crescent rolls into thin strips and wrap the strips around the hot dogs, making sure to overlap like a mummy.
  • Bake for 15 minutes or until the mummies are golden brown.

Spooky Party Punch

Next up is our Spooky Party Punch! It’s already scary on its own (I know), but add in some frozen icy hands to keep your punch as chilling as Halloween itself.

Ingredients:

  • 4 quarts of cranberry juice cocktail
  • 2 cups of pineapple juice
  • 6 oz. of thawed lemonade concentrate
  • ½ liter of Ginger ale
  • 4 to 6 cups of vodka (depending on how strong you like your punch)
  • Food-safe gloves
  • Water

Instructions:

  • In a large bowl, combine cranberry cocktail, pineapple juice, Ginger ale, lemonade concentrate, and vodka.
  • Fill food-safe gloves with water and tie them off before placing them in the freezer.
  • When the water is frozen, rip open the gloves and add icey hands to the punch.

Vampire’s Kiss Mocktail

Want to keep up with the spirit of spooky season without that Halloween hangover?! This vampire-themed mocktail is a devilishly delicious way to celebrate without the morning-after mournings.

Ingredients:

  • 6-8 pitted cherries
  • ½ oz. of maple syrup
  • 1 to 2 oz. of tart cherry juice
  • ½ of a lime
  • Black cherry sparkling water
  • Sugar

Instructions:

  • Rim a glass with sugar and muddle the pitted cherries at the bottom of the glass.
  • Add maple syrup, cherry juice, and the juiced lime.
  • Top with black cherry sparkling water and stir.

Brain Hemorrhage Shot

I’m sure being this far into the semester has some of us feeling like zombies. Here’s your chance to eat some brains in a way that is a bit more socially acceptable…kinda.

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz. Peach Schnapps
  • Bailey’s Irish Cream
  • Grenadine

Instructions:

  • Pour Peach Schnapps into a shot glass.
  • Slowly pour in Bailey’s over the back of a spoon so it floats on top.
  • Pour in a splash of grenadine to create the “brain” effect.
