Monday’s are for the girls at Orange Crate.

The bar, located on Crouse Avenue near Marshall Street is showing the fan favorite ABC reality TV show The Bachelor every Monday night when it airs at 8 p.m.

Best friends and seniors at SU Lauren Sullivan, Lena Osso and Lily Warren caught a recent episode of the reality show, sharing their predictions and favorite contestants over a glass of white wine.

Osso says for their last semester, she and her friends are trying to make as many memories as possible before the year is over.

“We wanted to switch up our Bachelor-watching experience, so we came to try it out,” Osso said.

Warren also said they wanted to find a good Monday activity to do as a group because they typically stay home early in the week.

“This is a good opportunity to do more wholesome things together,” Warren added.

The group of senior girls wasted no time making themselves comfortable; showing up in their best matching PJ sets and taking advantage of the $6 deal for two glasses of wine. During the commercial break, they ran outside to CVS and grabbed a couple bags of chocolate candy. Friends, chocolate, and wine– what more could you ask for?

As the episode was underway, the girls discussed who they think will end up winning the heart of Joey Graziadei, this season’s dreamy bachelor. The group shared the consensus that Lea and Jess won’t win, and that they all love Maria – a fan favorite for this season.

“I think Daisy might win but Maria will make it to hometowns,” Sullivan said.

Warren shared in the prediction that Daisy could be a winner, especially after the one-on-one she and Joey shared during episode two.

As week six’s episode came to a close, the show started to heat up when Lexi decided to leave on her own terms following the group date in Montréal.

With the next episode on deck for Monday night, the SU seniors are excited to see what happens on the last group date.
