Syracuse psychic fair offers spiritual variety
Attendees could choose from all types of readings and vendors to tap into their personal beliefs.

Experience Psychic Fairs continued its spiritual tour of New York state when it rolled into town on Saturday.
The fair at the Embassy Suites in East Syracuse featured more than 20 psychics and vendors, all with different specialities, including David Bruzaga’s positive energy devices.
“I was making positive energy devices that were science-based, based on physics,” Bruzaga said. “But I’m also a psychic reader as well, so I found that the human scientist stuff had imperfections to it. So I meditated and asked the spirit beings what to do, and they said to make these.”
On Saturday, Bruzaga was selling Transformer Discs, which he said he infuses with angel science and higher vibranium being science.

“It’s like if an angel had a Google Play app,” he said. “So these do different things for healing, intuition, manifestation, changing reality and things like that.
“But if you give it to the wrong person they don’t know what it does so it can be counter-productive, so that’s why I stand over here and help people pick them out.”
As a psychic reader, Bruzaga said doesn’t need cards, such as tarot to do readings.
“Honestly, people like us we can just make up different types of readings without even practicing,” Bruzaga said. “Tarot cards readings, you can read bones, if you can read without cards you can just make up your own reading.”
Bruzaga suggested throwing a laundry basket filled with clothes across the room could be a reading based on on where the items lande.
“You can be creative about it, whatever works for you, push the envelope like that,” he said.
Isabela, another reader at the fair, focused on numerology readings, which based on combining numbers associated with the letters in a person’s name and their birthdate.
“That number tells you everything — from life path, to what ages they might thrive, what ages they might setback, how their careers, relationships might go,” she said. “You can learn so much simply by the number you get.”
Isabela describes numerology as something more set in stone compared to other types of readings.
“Readings are either speaking to the beyond or putting out the cards and saying that this is your future. This is more something that’s set already, so it’s something that you’re born with,” she said.
Attendees had a variety of readings to choose from. From the more set-in-stone numerology to the more widespread tarot and palm readings.
Catherine attended Saturday’s fair where she received a reading. For her, readings provide a different perspective.
“I feel like it centers people in some ways, I think that in order to get a reading you have to believe that session left you more hopeful about your situation. If there’s something that’s concerning you, you get a different perspective on things,” she said. “ I think that a lot of people want to feel connected to some higher power. Some people get into religion and that kind of thing, and for people that maybe don’t connect to that, this is how they feel that connection.”
