Quavo replaces Lil Tecca as Juice Jam headliner

For the second time this week, University Union has announced a new Juice Jam headliner to join Maisie Peters and Smino.

Quavo is seen performing with Lenny Kravitz at 'Today Show' on September 12, 2024 in New York City.
Quavo, shown here performing the ‘Today Show’ in New York City on Sept. 12, is the third headliner announced for this year’s Juice Jam.

For the second time this week,  University Union has had to find a new Juice Jam headliner, with rapper Quavo announced Thursday as the latest headliner. Quavo will be replacing Lil Tecca, who had initially stepped in for PARTYNEXTDOOR, for Sunday’s concert in the JMA Wireless Dome.

According to University Union, “Lil Tecca sustained an injury that will prevent him from making an appearance at Sunday’s show.” This comes two days after UU’s Tuesday announcement that Lil Tecca would replace the original headliner, PARTYNEXTDOOR, citing circumstances out of their control for the change.

Pop artist Maisie Peters and rapper Smino will still serve as openers, rounding out the lineup for University Union’s annual fall concert.

This year’s Juice Jam will take place in the Dome for the first time due to ongoing construction at Skytop Field on South Campus. Doors will still open at 6 p.m. for the event.
