Latto will be bringing “Big Energy” to Syracuse University this spring.

University Union announced the lineup for this year’s Block Party, featuring performances by rapper Latto and indie-pop singer-songwriter Role Model. The end-of-school-year concert will take place on April 25 at the JMA Wireless Dome. Doors will open at 7 p.m.

Latto is a Grammy-nominated rapper known for her chart-topping hits such as “Big Energy,” “Brokey” and “Put It On Da Floor Again.” She first gained national attention after winning The Rap Game as a 16-year-old rapper under the name Miss Mulatto. She has since collaborated with artists such as Cardi B, Mariah Carey and Megan Thee Stallion.

Role Model is an indie-pop artist who released his debut album Rx in 2022. The singer-songwriter, also known as Tucker Pillsbury, released his second studio album Kansas Anymore in 2024. His song from Kansas Anymore’s deluxe album, “Sally, When The Wine Runs Out” went viral on Tik Tok this year.

Block Party is UU’s largest annual event at Syracuse University, offering students with an end-of-semester finale. Past performers have included artists like Lil Yachty, Aminé and Faye Webster.

SU/ESF students can purchase tickets online starting Monday at noon for $20, while general public sales open April 14 at noon for $40. This year’s prices reflect a $5 increase for students and a $15 increase for the general public compared to last year.
