University Union’s annual fall concert will also feature Denzel Curry, Ryan Beatty and Rachel Grae.

Flo Rida will headline the 2023 Juice Jam concert on Sunday, Sept. 24, at Skytop Field at Syracuse University’s South Campus.

Denzel Curry, Ryan Beatty and Rachel Grae will join the lineup, the University Union announced Tuesday evening. Syracuse University student Mark Samuel will DJ this year’s jam.

Rapper Flo Rida released the single “Do Si Do (Wait for the Drop)” with producer Tom Martin earlier this year, but it’s his 2000s hits like “Right Round” featuring Ke$ha that ring of nostalgia. His 2007 debut single “Low” with 2022 Juice Jam headliner T-Pain topped the 2008 charts in the US as the longest-running number-one single.

Also from Florida, Denzel Curry attributes much of his influence to SpaceGhostPurrp. The 28-year-old’s August single “BLOOD ON MY NIKEZ” featuring Juicy J boasts heavy-hitting lyricism in contrast to his energizing “CLOUT COBAIN l CLOUT CO13AIN.” Curry is most known for his 2015 single “Ultimate,” inducing a pop-culture frenzy.

California singer-songwriter Ryan Beatty comes to the stage with a Pop refresher. After leaving the music scene, he resurfaced in 2017 with Brockhampton collaborations. His third studio album Calico came out in April of this year.

Rachel Grae came into her own over the last year, amassing over 1 million followers on TikTok. The singer from New Jersey rounds out the lineup with melancholy pop sounds like her September single, “Hope You’re Proud.”
