Welcome back to Reel Talk! Over the course of four episodes we will be discussing all things Academy Awards. We’ll break down every category, place our predictions, and discuss all the Oscars buzz leading up to (and after) the big ceremony on March 27.

This week we are talking about the technical categories that will air during the telecast along with the writing, music, and performance categories. We discuss why no matter who wins the best original song it will be history-making, confess our not-so-secret adoration of Andrew Garfield and stumble our way to making a decision about who will win the best actress category. We even surprise ourselves with some of our in-the-moment predictions.
