SNL alum Jay Pharoah will headline University Union's comedy event on Feb. 18.

University Union announced actor and stand-up comedian Jay Pharoah will headline its 2022 comedy show on Feb. 18.

The former Saturday Night Live castmate will be joined at the Goldstein Auditorium show by New York-based opera-singer-turned-comedian Matteo Lane.

Pharoah became known on SNL for his uncanny impressions of celebrities and politicians, most notably Barack Obama. After leaving the long-running late night TV comedy show, Pharoah went on to star in Showtime’s White Famous, 2 Minutes of Fame with Keke Palmer and Steven Soderbergh’s Unsane. He currently plays recurring roles on NBC’s A Million Little Things and Fox’s Family Guy.

Opener Lane’s cheeky stand up special was featured on Netflix’s The Comedy Lineup, and he’s performed on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert and Late Night With Seth Meyers. Also, he co-hosts the podcast Inside the Closet Together.
