On April 6, Emmy Award-winning comedian Tiffany Haddish and recording artists Pusha T and Flipp Dinero will perform at the Goldstein Auditorium for a day-long event “Cuse Can! It Starts With Us,” University Union announced on Wednesday night. All event proceeds will benefit the Hendricks Chapel Food Pantry and Hillside Children’s Center.

The event is sponsored by UU, The National Pan-Hellenic Council, and the Student Association. The goal is to engage students in a conversation about community differences and implement social change.

‘Cuse Can’ will begin with Haddish’s stand-up act at 1:45 p.m. followed by two separate discussion panels, “What We Need To Be Talking About” at 4:15 p.m. and “Just Up The Block” at 5:15 p.m., at Watson Theater. Pusha T and Flipp Dinero will finish off the celebration at 8:15 p.m. back in Goldstein.

University Union is offering an opportunity for students who are interested in meeting Haddish in-person. The first 100 students who donate will be selected for a meet-and-greet with Haddish following her performance at Cuse Can.
