University Union announced Sunday that it will be hosting “An Evening of Comedy” featuring Vanessa Bayer, John Early and Sabrina Jalees on March 1 in Goldstein Auditorium at 8 p.m.

Bayer is an Emmy-nominated comedic actress best known for her work on “Saturday Night Live.” She became one of the longest-serving female cast members on show before leaving in 2017, and has appeared in a number of sitcoms and televisions shows including “Portlandia,” “Drunk History” and “Will & Grace.” In 2013, she performed at Syracuse with SNL’s Kate McKinnon, and greeted the crowd by sharing that her father went to college at SU.

Writer and comedian Early has appeared on NBC’s “30 Rock” and Comedy Central’s “Broad City” as well as “Netflix Presents: The Characters” — a show he wrote, produced and starred in.

Canadian comedian and actress Jalees has been featured on Netflix in an episode of “The Comedy Lineup,” and has had reoccurring roles on several Canadian sketch comedy shows and TV series. Her 2013 comedy tour “Brownlisted” discussed how being out as a lesbian affected her relationship with her extended Muslim family.
