Speculation is high as to whether young voters will show up to the polls for the midterm elections.

Early voting data shows that turnout for voters between the ages of 18 to 29 from across the country spiked this year. Young voters were one of the lowest demographics at the voting booth at the 2014 midterm and 2016 presidential elections. The NewsHouse crossed Syracuse University’s campus to speak to students and find out why it is important that young people use their right to vote.
