The Saint Lawrence River represents the border between the United States and Canada for about 115 miles.

We traveled its entirety, twice, and collected stories from both sides of the border.

Some stories surprised us.

Others got us thinking.

A national border lies between them, but their lives are more interconnected than we thought.
