Timeka N. Williams

Timeka N. Williams is a magazine journalism and international relations major at Syracuse University in the Class of 2010. For as long as she can remember, she has wanted to have a voice. Her passion for storytelling and gifts of organization, leadership, writing, and editing have led her to become Managing Editor of The Black Voice and hold various editorial internships on and off campus. She was selected as an intern for the American Society of Magazine Editors 2009 Summer Editorial Internship Program and fulfilled her internship at Essence magazine.

Timeka plans to become a magazine editor one day and eventually start a lifestyle magazine for Black girls. In her later years, she also plans to become a media professor.
