About Me:

Freshman year of college, I found the quote, "With a dream and a number two pencil, you can go anywhere." Being a writer and a dreamer, this quote has shaped my college experience.

I am currently working towards creating a magazine for teenagers with disabilities. As a student at S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, my focus is magazine journalism. I have edited and written for Jerk Magazine, which is a student publication. Because I am passionate about working with people with disabilities and creating equal opportunities for them, I am minoring in disability studies. I am a part of the student tech garden, which is an incubator for startups. Professors and mentors provide the resources and assistance students need to see their vision turn into a profitable business.

This past summer, I interned at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital's Adaptive Sports Program. I learned how sports can be adaptable to different disabilities. I also interviewed and took photographs of the athletes. During the previous summer, interned at Boston Magazine with the editorial team. I also interned at Cape Cod Life Magazine, where I was published a long feature story in the print magazine.
