Jaime Bellemare

Jaime Bellemare is a sophomore at Syracuse University duel majoring in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science with a minor in Women's and Gender Studies. She also hopes to minor in LGBT studies. 

Originally from Beacon Falls, Connecticut, Jaime is a contributing writer for multiple on campus publications as well as a member of the SU club softball team and a building manager for SU Student Centers and Programming Services.  

This summer Jaime will be studying media and politics in Washington D.C. as she works to pursue her dream of being a political journalist.  Jaime takes special interest in LGBT and gender politics as well as human and civil rights. 

This semester Jaime will be a contributing reporter for The Newshouse's News Tracker and looks forward to getting involved with other types of campus media.
