Williams still has clots in her lungs, hopes to return soon.
Serena Williams is hoping to come back to tennis sometime in the summer after recovering from her blood clots, according to ESPN.
The tennis star has been out of tennis since she won Wimbledon last June because of a cut on her foot that required surgery. The stress from the surgery and traveling to keep herself occupied seemed to be the reason she got blood clots in her lungs.
Serena Williams' health took a turn for the worse Monday, according to People. Williams, 29, was seen in the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angelos several times in the past week.
"Monday Serena Williams underwent emergency treatment at Cedars for a hematoma she suffered as a result of treatment for a more critical situation," said Nicole Chabot, Williams' rep.
