Syracuse University's football team has a strong group of fullbacks going into spring training.
This time last year, Syracuse University only had one true fullback on its roster. This year, it has five. Carl Cutler was moved from playing tight end in the 2009 season to being the only fullback for the 2010 season.
After Cutler tore an ACL, SU head coach Doug Marrone needed to think quickly. Former linebackers Adam Harried and Shane Kimmel, as well as walk-on Robert Nieves, were used as SU’s fullbacks. Soon after, a fullback who was a junior college transfer, Tombe Kose, joined the team.
Plus, another earthquake hits and Jose Reyes has a thyroid imbalance.
A small protest by members of Syracuse United Neighbors,SUN, occurred earlier today outside of a bank in downtown Syracuse.
The protest, composed of about half a dozen members of SUN, entered the Bank of America across from Clinton Square around 11 a.m. today, according to the Post-Standard.
