According to CNN, filmmakers Danny Strong and Jay Roach have hired Julianne Moore to play the former Alaska governor and 2008 vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin in HBO Film's "Game Change."

“Sarah Palin’s Alaska,” a reality TV show starring Sarah Palin herself aired Sunday night on TLC, according to CNN. The show highlights the adventures of the former Alaskan governor and her family as they Rock-climb Mountains, fish near Grizzly bears, and travel through wildlife terrains.

A bill signed on Wednesday includes a plan to pay members of Taliban to switch sides

President Obama signed a bill on Wednesday that includes provisions to pay Taliban soldiers in Afghanistan to switch sides.  The $680 billion defense appropriations bill is for the military operations in 2010, according to cnn.com.

Sen. Carl Levin said they hope to encourage Taliban soldiers to separate the Taliban from their leaders by paying them, cnn.com reports.

Hancock Airport one of the worst in the nation in arrival delays

Hancock Airport ranks 10th in on-time arrival performance according to a study released by the Brookings Institute today, reports syracuse.com.  The average time of delay in Syracuse was almost an hour according to the report, which was conducted over a 12-month period that ended in June.
