Sarah Palin’s not running for President. She broke the news through a letter to supporters and a radio talk show host, Mark Levin, Wednesday evening.

Dilma Rousseff has been named the first female in Brazil after 93% of the votes have been counted.

The candidate of the ruling Workers' Party, Dilma Rousseff, has defeated Jose Serra of the Party of Brazilian Social Democracy, to become Brazil's next president, according to an article by The Economist. With 93 percent of the presidential votes accounted for, Rousseff has defeated Serra by winning 55.5 percent of votes compared to his 45.5 percent.

The president of National Grid USA apologized today in front of a state Senate committee, after the company included some questionable executive perks in its request for a $400 million rate hike.

Tom King, president of National Grid, said the company needs the $400 million rate hike to modernize and operate its electric grid. However, The Post-Standard reports that he is "deeply disappointed" that the company also included unacceptable expenses in its request, such as a $1,254 bill to ship an employee's win collection.

The rescue is expected to take place Wednesday.

Chilean President Sebastian Pinera  spoke in Quito, Ecuador, and said he is ready for the rescue of the 33 miners which have been trapped for over months.  Rescue crews will begin Wednesday or perhaps even earlier to pull the men to safety, officials said.

 The president would like the miners to not just see the sunlight but embrace with their family, according to CNN.

Donald Trump, unhappy with the economy, said he is seriously thinking about running for president in 2012.

Billionaire Donald Trump announced yesterday to Fox News that he is “thinking about” a run for the Republican nomination in the 2012 presidential race, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Trump is insisting the announcement isn’t a joke, and said he has been asked to do it for years, but never had an interest, until now.

Trump told MSNBC "Morning Joe" show hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski that he is "absolutely thinking about" running for president in 2012, according to the New York Times.

Trumps said that he is thinking about running because someone needs to do something to turn the country around.

The former president will go back to his book tour after a two-day stay in the hospital.

After a two­-day stay in the hospital for a gastric viral infection, former President Jimmy Carter has been released, according to CNN.  Carter went to the hospital Tuesday morning after complaining of an upset stomach upon landing in Cleveland.  Carter spent two nights in the hospital for observation.
