Allen Iverson set to make his return to the professional basketball court -- in the Middle East

Former 1996 No. 1 overall pick of the Philadelphia 76ers has no suitors in the NBA so decides to look elsewhere for employment.

Allen Iverson is toiling with the idea of joining professional basketball team the Besiktas of Istanbul in the Middle East. The deal would mean millions in financial stability, a fresh start and another chance to prove that he belongs in the NBA and is still a superstar.

Wes Johnson and Andy Rautins: NBA here they come

Former Syracuse Orange Wesley Johnson goes to the Minnesota Timberwolves as the No. 4 pick, while teammate Andy Rautins heads to the New York Knicks.

Syracuse knew it had a superstar on its hands, and the rest of the country noticed. Wes Johnson was the No. 4 pick last night for the Minnesota Timberwolves, as two of Syracuse Orange's finest were drafted into the NBA, onto bigger and better careers.

Apple sues maker of Google phone

The New York Times reports Apple is suing HTC, the Taiwan-based phone maker, over 20 Apple patents linked to the iPhone. Apple says HTC violated patents covering the phone’s user interface, internal architecture and hardware.
