10 states host contests, with a crucial decision in Ohio

Many Republican voters went to the polls on Super Tuesday. Today is the most crucial day for the Republican presidential campaign race as 10 states had contests for the right to challenge President Obama in the Election of 2012 in November. Front runner Mitt Romney looks to extend his lead in the polls while Rick Santorum is trying to make it a tight race between the two candidates. 

Through out the country, voters are trying to decide on who will pose the biggest threat to Barack Obama in this year's election.

Blaze was caused by secret meth lab in the home's basement

Authorities now believe that the Sunday night fire at Park Haven Nursing Home in Ashtabula, Ohio started in a secret meth lab located in the home's basement.

Gunman now in police custody after killing one student and wounding four

An armed student opened fire Monday morning at Chardon High School's cafeteria near Cleveland, Ohio, killing one student. Four other students are wounded.

T.J. Lane, who was identified by several students and one of the victims as the shooter, has been taken into custody by police. Officers locked down the school to ensure the students' safety.

The women's basketball team dropped a contest to Oklahoma, but knocked off Xavier and Ohio at the Duel in the Desert in Las Vegas.

The Duel in the Desert in Las Vegas at UNLV’s Cox Pavilion is now over. SU women’s basketball team won two games and lost one.

Police in Zanesville, Ohio were forced to kill nearly 60 exotic animals on Tuesday night in response to several 911 calls noting their escape.

A search resumes Monday for an Ohio woman, her son, and her friend after her daughter was found bound and gagged, but alive, in the basement of a Mount Vernon, Ohio home, according to CNN

An Ohio girl kicks 3 field goals for the football team and wins Homecoming queen just for fun.

Last Friday Jackie Kasburg played in her first high school football game and then was crowned homecoming queen.

Kasburg played soccer for 13 years, but when she saw that her high schools football team, Chippewa High (OH), was not doing so well she decided to try out. Kasburg was not given her role though, she had to earn her spot on the team she had to out kick the former starter in a kicking competition during practice.

A 3-year-old's birthday party turned in a brawl involving 75 people and more than 20 policemen.

A 3-year-old girls birthday party ended with five people having to go the hospital, according to CNN.

 Police were called to the 3-year-old, Joselyn’s, birthday party in Elmwood Place, Ohio early Tuesday, but had to wait before going in.  The 20 officers at the scene had to call for backup before trying to stop the melee, Chief William Peskin of Elmwood Police told reporters.
