Enter Tim Tebow.

In a recent deal penned between the Denver Broncos, Tebow's old team, and the New York Jets, Tebow-mania is coming down from the Rockies and heading east into the media hub of America.

New York Jets plan to bring back running back LaDainian Tomlinson next season.

According to ESPN and NFL sources, the New York Jets plan to bring back veteran running back LaDainian Tomlinson for the final year of his contract. Tomlinson turns 32 in June but the Jets want to continue to use the 3 RBs in their backfield (Tomlinson, Shonn Greene, and Joe Mcknight).

NFL Investigating Allegations Against QB Brett Favre

The NFL has continued its investigation into the allegations that Brett Favre sent inappropriate messages and photos to a former New York Jets employee, Jenn Sterger according to ESPN. Sterger's manager released a statement saying that the proper resolution to the situation is more important to her client than dealing with it quickly.

"This is something that allegedly happened two years ago. We don't want a quick resolution, but the proper resolution," said Sterger's manager, Phil Reese.

With one investigation already underway into allegations that Vikings Quarterback Brett Favre sent inappropriate text messages to a former New York Jets employee, another former Jets employee steps forward with new accusations.

A former New York Jets female masseuse came forward with a separate incident in which ex-Jets quarterback Brett Favre sent her inappropriate messages and left harassing voicemails according to The Post-Standard. The new allegations come just a week after the NFL “fast-tracked” the investigation into Favre’s alleged misconduct regarding another former Jets employee.

More young adults are unable to meet requirements to join the military, creating a potential threat to national security, said a group of retired armed forces. CNN reports according to Mission: Readiness, about 27 percent of young adults are medically ineligible for the military.

Plus, new fuel economy standards are set for vehicles and the New York Jets' quarterback says he will be ready by training camp.

The New York State Public Service Commission approved a project that will bring locally extracted natural gas to residents across New York State.

According to the Post-Standard, the construction of an 8.2-mile pipeline between Eaton and Lebanon is expected to begin this fall. The project was pushed back until fall, so farmers along the route could plant and harvest their crops without interruption.

Chile reopened its copper mines, closed after Saturday's earthquake, on Monday. There was no serious damage reportedly done to the mines and some were unaffected. A quarter of the top copper producing mines were shut down over the weekend. According to The New York Times, the mines were shut down because of power outages and fear of further disruption.

Toyota is planning to temporarily shut down production at two U.S. plants, one in Kentucky and another in Texas, according to CNN. After a series of recalls Toyota's sales have been decreasing, and Toyota has decided to adjust production levels of some of its popular models. The Kentucky plant will not produce cars Feb. 26, while the Texas plant will suspend production the week of March 15 and in mid April.

New poll shows dramatic change in recent weeks

According to the latest Associated Press – GfK poll, the American public is split evenly – with 40% in favor and 40% opposed – on federal health care legislation. 

This comes just weeks after a September poll reported that 49% of Americans opposed congressional health care proposals while just 34% supported them.
