Mike Huckabee comments on Natalie Portman's pregnancy, single motherhood.

Former Arkansas governor and possible presidential candidate Mike Huckabee criticized Oscar's best actress Natalie Portman on a radio show, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Huckabee says Portman is glamorizing the life of a single mother. Portman is pregnant with her fiancé’s child. Portman met Benjamin Millepeid when he was the choreographer on the set of the Black Swan.

Portman 'disgusted' after hearing Dior chief designer's racist comments.

Natalie Portman said she is "shocked and disgusted" by Dior chief designer John Galliano after a videotape surfaced where he allegedly made anti-semitic comments, said People. 

Portman said she shouldn't be associated with Galliano in any way. She also said that she was proud of her Jewish heritage and that Galliano's comments were "terrible" and hopes that "these terrible comments remind us to reflect and act upon existing prejudices that are the opposite of beautiful."

Leave Jane Austen's Work Alone: A Desperate and Non-Influential Plea

People keep messing with Jane Austen's work. I'm annoyed by it.

I am a fervent Jane Austen fan. I love her eloquent prose, her portrayal of social conventions during Victorian England, and her penchant for subtle criticism. And I think people need to leave her work well-enough alone!

As you may or may not know, her work is in the public domain and is no longer covered by copyright. So, people can do what they will with it. And ohhhh have they.

Kanye told her Beyonce had the best video, but clearly he didn't see this.

I was flipping through some of my HD music channels this afternoon and thought I missed the most unique mainstream collaboration in quite some time. Turns out T-Pain and "T-Swizzle" recorded this track ("Thug Story") back in the early summer for the CMT Music Awards. It still merits a viewing even today however...
