According to CNN, 63,000 flights had been canceled in four days, disrupting global travel and freight.

A report in today's Syracuse Post-Standard reports that school officials, nurses, and doctors have been warned about the alarming increase of HIV in Onondaga County. Officials were concerned after at least ten new cases of HIV have been diagnosed in Onondaga County since last December.

Onondaga County Legislature might remove fringe benefits from the Onondaga County Water Authority, according to the Post-Standard.  Future board members of OCWA will not receive benefits, such as health care.

Legislators are debating allowing current board members to keep the benefits they already have.

Board members might not receive a salary either.
