Former congressional candidate and New York State Assemblywoman Dede Scozzafava will not seek a seventh term, her husband confirmed today, according to the Syracuse Post-Standard.

Barack Obama made an appearance in Georgia today at Savannah Technical College.  The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the president spoke to an invitation-only crowd about his proposed “Homestar” initiative.  The plan would reward people for making their houses more energy efficient, offering homeowners up to $3000 in rebates as an incentive.
