Tragedy hits Fort Hood

According to CNN.com The Fort Hood army base in Texas is under lock down after a fatal shooting occurred earlier this afternoon. 12 have been confirmed dead including the shooter, who has been identified as Major Nidal Hasan.

31 more are injured, two are in serious condition and CNN.com has confirmed that all involved were adults.

A gunmen took the lives of 11 soldiers and his own at Fort Hood in Texas.

According to CNN. com, Eleven people were killed and another 31 people were injured as a gunman opened fire on Fort Hood in Texas today.  There is a possibility that more than one shooter was involved in the tragedy.  Fort Hood is the United States Army's largest post.  The shootings occurred at the sports complex on the military grounds.  President Obama referred to the incident as "tragic"  and "a horrific outburst of violence".  Fort Hood is home to almost 40,000 soldiers,...
