West Genesee School District teachers, teaching assistants and aides, administrators and school superintendents agreed to a wage freeze for the 2011-2012 school year to help close a daunting budget gap, The Post-Standard reports.
Of the district's 750 teachers, aides and administrators 650 already agreed to the pay freeze and the rest will soon follow, said Superintendent Christopher R. Brown in an interview with The Post-Standard.

The body of Robert Levett, 79, was discovered around 10 a.m.. According to CNY Central, Levett had disappeared this weekend, when he was hunting with his son in the Tug Hill region.
Levett had been missing since Saturday afternoon, when he didn't show up for a scheduled meetup with his son. 50 to 60 searchers, along with the State Police and Department of Environmental Conservation rangers searched for Levett throughout the weekend.
