The term 'harassment' being consider to describe an SU student’s blog.

According to The Post-Standard and the Daily Orange, the creator of SUCOLitis, a satirical blog aimed at Syracuse University College of Law students, is under investigation for writing and publishing what one student say was “harassing statements.”

Hossein Derakhshan, whose efforts made it possible for people to blog in Farsi, was sentenced to 19.5 years in prison for what the Iranian government deemed to be “counterrevolutionary” blogging.

One of the men responsible for introducing Farsi to the blogosphere is going away for a long time, according to The New York Times.  Hossein Derakhshan, 35, was sentenced to 19.5 years in jail by the Iranian government for his blog entries, many of which were deemed “counterrevolutionary.” He is also prohibited from taking part in politics or the media for fiveyears and was orderd to return nearly $45,000 worth of “...
