Steven Tyler's gig as an ‘American Idol’ judge is paying off.

Aerosmith’s music sales have skyrocketed since Steven Tyler began judging the hit show, “American Idol,” according to CNN. Sales of the band’s 1994 album "Big Ones" increased by 260 percent after the premiere and its 2004 album "Devil's Got a New Disguise" increased by 146 percent.

The week of Jan. 30, the band sold 34,000 downloads of "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" – an increase of 363 percent.

Before Tyler joined the panel of judges, Aerosmith sales were on the decline.

Former 'American Idol' judge will be part of judging panel for new talent competition.

Ex-American Idol judge Simon Cowell announced to reporters on Monday he will be one of the judges on the American version of The X Factor, People reports.

Cowell is the executive producer of the talent competition show that is a huge hit in Europe. He will also help choose the rest of the judges on the panel.

After years of suspicion among parents and questions from colleagues about his strange behavior, Delaware pediatrician, Dr. Earl Bradley, has been charged with the serial molestation of 103 children.

Bradley was arrested after a 2-year-old girl told her mother that the doctor hurt her in Dec. when he took her to a basement room at his office following an exam.

He has been charged with 471 counts of sexual crimes and prosecutors expect to add more counts to the 160-page indictment.

The United States Postal Service says it needs Congress to pass a five-day delivery plan if it is going to continue to function.  The Postal Service also says it needs to change the way retiree health benefits are funded.
