ABC, CBS and NBC blocking programming on their websites.

ABC, CBS and NBC will not allow viewers to watch their shows through Google’s new Web-TV service.  Google TV allows people to access the Internet and search for videos on their television screens. 

According to The Wall Street Journal, the networks are concerned about Google’s stance on websites that offer pirated videos.  However, Google has said Google TV will promote the networks’ broadcasts and websites’ content, not pirated content.

             ABC News will restructure by undergoing big personnel reductions by the end of the year, the Post Standard reports. ABC News President David Westin says the number could be as high as one quarter of the current 1,400-person news staff.

A Syracuse man was allegedly Tasered three times after resisting arrest on Saturday.

On Comstock Ave. Syracuse police and SU Public Safety use force to capture a man with traffic violations.  The Post-Standard reports that on Saturday Barasheen R. Moody, 27, of Maple Terrace was operating an unauthorized vehicle and had a blood alcohol level of over the legal limit, 0.08 percent.  Moody was charged with misdemeanor counts of each offense, including resisting arrest.  After being stopped Moody ran away from Officer Scott Prutsman and proceeded down Comstock where...
