"Their philosophy is simple," Obama said in a high school gym in Osawatomie, Kansas, "We are better off when everybody is left to fend for themselves and play by their own rules. I am here to say they are wrong."
“I’m going to be the nominee," he said. "It’s very hard not to look at the recent polls and think that the odds are very high I’m going to be the nominee."

A woman taking part in the Occupy Movement in Atlanta was arrested early this morning at Woodruff Park in Atlanta, GA. She was arrested for being in the park after the 11 p.m. curfew. The woman was the only protester in the park. The rest stood silently on the sidewalk.
The woman deliberately sought to be arrested to send a message, La’Die Mansfied, a spokeswoman for Occupy Atlanta said.
Romney Announces Plan to Cut Spending by $550 Billion
Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney announced, yesterday, his debt reduction plan that would cut government spending by $550 billion dollars by 2016.
"The consequences of a weak America, a declining America, an America so deep in debt that we can't pave our way--those consequences are sever," Businessweek.com reports Romney said in a speech in New Hampshire.
