Virginia Tech shooting leaves two dead

The shooter remains at large and the campus remains on lock down.

Two people, one a police officer, were shot and killed this afternoon on the campus of Virginia Tech. The suspect remains at large.

According to the LA Times, the suspect shot and killed a Virginia Tech police officer during a traffic stop in a campus parking lot. The suspect fled on foot and a second victim was later found shot dead in the same parking lot.
