A wave of pornographic and violent images flood Facebook over the span of a few days

For the past few days, Facebook has been bombarded with pornographic and violent images on the news feeds.

While the social network's lawyers are looking for ways to handle the spammers, many users are bewildered from the images they saw in their news feeds. Some of them took to Twitter to share their frustrations. A lot of people they might quit Facebook altogether over the spam assault if this doesn’t stop.

The New York Supreme Court ruled Tuesday that protestors may return to Zuccotti Park, but they may no longer camp there.

The park has been the main headquarters for a movement that has spread not only from coast-to-coast, but also across the world.

After New York Police cleared the “residents” from the park early Tuesday morning, attorneys for the demonstrators argued the forced evacuation was unlawful, CNN reports.

State Supreme Court Justice Michael Stallman disagreed.

New route will avoid environmentally sensitive areas in Nebraska

TransCanada announced Monday that it will reroute its planed Keystone XL Pipeline, which would carry crude oil from Canada to Texas. The company said the new route would avoid the Sandhills area of Nebraska, which is home to an important and environmentally sensitive aquifer, NPR reports.
