A new exhibition from Syracuse University’s College of Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) pairs original Arts and Crafts Movement furnishings, with an emphasis on those designed by Gustav Stickley, with clothing worn by American women during 1909-1913.

VPA's Annual Fashion Show puts students' work in the runway spotlight.

Syracuse University's The School of Visual and Performing Arts is hosting their Annual Fashion Show this week, and the night promises to bring plenty of fabulous fashion, glamour, and buzz.  The School of Art and Design's senior fashion design majors will debut their collections during the two-day event.

SU Professor Jeff Mayer's collection of vintage couture is his life's passion

Closet space is a precious commodity.

But in Jeff Mayer’s house, five of his six closets are crammed with clothes he doesn’t wear.

Mayer, 45 and an associate professor of fashion history and design at Syracuse University since 1992, has amassed a large private collection of vintage couture, perhaps one of the largest in Central New York.

Review: America's Next Top Model has strayed far from what made the reality show so popular...and good.

Review: Shoe designer Christian Louboutin's directorial debut, "Psychologic," doesn't fit as well as his heels.

There are two schools of thought on how to dress when you wake up in a bad mood.

The first tells you to bury your feelings in folds of sweatshirt material and slip into practical, comfort shoes. The second advises you wear that dry-clean-only number you normally save for cocktail parties, because when you look good, you feel good.  

Christian Louboutin, the French luxury shoe designer known for his red soles, clearly belongs to the latter.
