Syracuse junior forward Kris Joseph and sophomore point guard Brandon Triche are two of the 50 players named to the John R. Wooden Award preseason list, according to the Post-Standard.
Joseph won the Big East's Sixth-Man of the Year award last season, averaging 10.8 points per game. Triche started every game for the Orange as a freshman, averaging 8.1 points per game.
Other Big East players on the list were Connecticut's Kemba Walker, Pittsburgh's Ashton Gibbs, Georgetown's Austin Freeman, Seton Hall's Jeremy Hazell and Villanova's Corey Fisher.
