Despite the end of the storm that dumped snow on much of the country, meteorologists are saying another storm is brewing.
According to CNN.com the storm is expected to start over Sierra Nevada tonight, and start making its way eastward across the country.
States are to expect unusually low temperatures and gusting winds will make it feel much colder.
According to CNN the National Weather Service reported "widespread snow showers over the central and eastern Great Lakes region, the Ohio Valley and western Pennsylvania, with gusty winds and blowing snow."
Despite the freezing temperatures some are finding ways to make the best of it.
My Take: Going to school at Syracuse University every student knows about New York winters. Syracuse is known for getting a lot of lake effect snow. With so many students traveling home for the holidays soon after finals, this story is a very important one to keep updated.
Today, police found the car that was involved in a hit and run accident in front of Crouse Hospital last week.
According to Syracuse.com a tip was called in that the 1999 green Buick Century involved in the accident, was parked in a yard on West Newell Street.
Ever since 61-year-old Rebecca Forsythe was hit by this car outside her place of employment, Police have been searching for the car and the person driving it.
So far Police have yet to find the owner of the car or the person who was driving it at that time.
Forsythe says that one of the only things she remembers before she was hit was the fact that the car was accelerating instead of slowing down to let her pass.

My Take: This is kind of scary considering that SU is so close to these hospitals. The campus is always busy with people crossing the streets to get to class etc. Many students don’t even use the crosswalks or wait for the light to turn red because they are so impatient. Drivers have to be extra careful especially in areas like these where there are so many people walking around.
The news has been infected with stories of scandal and infidelity that all have one thing in common, Tiger Woods.
Today information came out that Tiger Woods could be loosing some big endorsement deals. According to ABC.com his cooperate sponsorships with Gatorade, Gillette, and Accenture could be at risk.
Wood’s endorsement deal with Nike seams to still be backing him, but Wood’s agent Mark Steinberg is working harder than ever to salvage the other multi million dollar deals.
Gatorade announced a couple of days ago that it was discontinuing its drink named after Woods, but says it was looking to do so due to “poor sales.”
My Take: personally I am getting so tired of hearing about Tiger Woods. I believe that this is a personal matter and that he should be allowed to take care of it in a discrete way. But What I found interesting in the breaking of this story, was the fact that Wood’s was very carful in his statements to the media. As an aspiring journalist I can appreciate the careful choice of words considering that we are taught to report on the truth and be careful to do just that.
